Solomon Islands: Legal Framework for REDD+

Summary

This report provides a legal analysis into relevant legal frameworks for REDD+ in the Solomon Islands, including of how carbon rights might be treated based on existing rights. This is part of a series of in-depth country legal analysis reports carried out by GIZ and the Secretariat of the Pacific Community (SPC) to support REDD+ development in the region (Solomon Islands, Fiji, Vanuatu, and Papua New Guinea).
