Benefit Distribution System

A mechanism, which may be legally enforceable, which allows for the dispersal of benefits (financial or otherwise) derived from REDD+ project activities to stakeholders in these activities, i.e. to forest owners responsible for undertaking actions to reduce deforestation and forest degradation.
