National Long-Term Development Plan 2005-2025 (Indonesia)

Summary

The National Long Term Development Plan (2005-2025) was drawn up as a continuation or previous stages of development planning in accordance with Article 4 of Law no. 25/2004 on National Development Planning. The RPJPN spans a period of twenty years and is divided into four stages, each spanning five years. These four stages are the National Medium Term Development Plans (2005-2009, 2010-2014, 2015-2019, and 2020-2025). 

In order to achieve the vision of sustainable development, the Government of Indonesia concluded that "the long term sustainability of development will face the challenges of climate change and global warming which affect activities and livelihood".
