Summary
The small-scale project is located between 350 and 2,600m above sea level, divided into 3 altitude layers. It consists of 515 hectares of reforestation within the agroforestry systems of land owned by 160 coffee producers, which are distributed among 4 communal native areas in the 'Pichanaki', and 'Chanchamayo' districts. The project aims to produce credits for the voluntary carbon market. The project has 1450 planted hectares under a VCS project description currently in the validation state. It is also undergoing pre-validation under the CarbonFix Standard. (transitioning to the Gold Standard)
