International Alert

Summary

International Alert is an independent peacebuilding organisation. It seeks to influence policies, governments, international organisations and multinational companies, to reduce conflict risk and increase the prospects of peace. International Alert is active in Asia, the South Caucasus, the Middle East, Latin America and the UK. Policy work focuses on factors that influence peace and security - the economy, climate change, gender, the role of international institutions, the impact if development aid and the effects of governance.
