This Guide aims to assist in understanding and implementing the UNFCCC REDD+ Safeguards, and contribute to the design and development of a Country Safeguard System (CSS). In particular, the guidance provided in this report contributes to the development of three main components of a CSS:
- Adoption of national safeguards
- Safeguard implementation measures
- Compliance measures
