Bosques Amazónicos (Peru)



BAM, a company established in 2004, is dedicated to the conservation, protection, restoration and sustainable management of tropical forests. Their mission is to maximise the value of forests in Latin America while contributing to the preservation of biodiversity as well as generating benefits for local communities. The company is an active REDD+ project proponent in Peru and is implementing a number of REDD+ projects: REDD in Small Scale Forestry Concessions in Madre de Dios; Reforestation with Native Commercial Species on Degraded Lands for Timber and Carbon Purposes in Campo Verde; and, REDD Project in the Madre de Dios Brazil Nut Concession.
