This presentation examines the potential effects of climate change upon Africa's forests.  All eco-regions in Africa have been experiencing warming since the 1960s, a pattern which is expected to continue. The presentation looks at the IUCN approach to conservation amongst others, and its relavance to forestry in light of climate change. It recommends three conservation strategies - adaptation, accommodation and transformation - combined with better policies and great research in order to preserve biodiversity into the future.
