CarbonFix Standard (Gold Standard)

Definition

A voluntary certification scheme, acquired by The Gold Standard in September 2012, which can be adopted by forest carbon projects and attributed to the resulting carbon credits. Currently carbon credits resulting from REDD+ projects are not accepted for certification under this particular standard.
